Pre Drywall Inspections
Inspections that take place before drywall is installed in new construction are referred to as pre drywall inspections. Inspections generally occur after the foundation components, floor, wall, and roof structural components, plumbing, electrical, and rough-in components and windows and exterior doors are installed. I'll be looking for defects that are covered up when drywall is installed. Since many systems and components will not be installed during the pre drywall inspection, a general home inspection is recommended after all construction is complete and the home is ready to be lived in. A detailed pre drywall report will be generated, complete with pictures, analysis and recommendations.
