Pre Drywall Inspections
A pre-drywall inspection takes place during new home construction before the drywall is installed. This is an important stage because the home’s structural components and many of the mechanical systems are still visible.
The inspection typically occurs after the foundation, framing, roof structure, plumbing, electrical, and other rough-in components have been installed, along with the windows and exterior doors. At this point, I’m able to look for potential issues that could be hidden once the drywall goes up.
Since many finishes and systems are not fully installed yet, a complete home inspection is still recommended once construction is finished and the home is ready for occupancy.
After the inspection, you’ll receive a detailed report with photos, explanations, and recommendations to help you address any concerns before construction continues.
