Video Sewer Scope Inspections
AHI provides video inspections of the main sewer lateral or "building sewer" as an add-on to your home inspection. The condition of the sewer line is generally unknown until a sewer scope camera is fed through the lateral or you have a sewer backup into your home. Replacing a sewer line can be very costly and I know this from my own experience. Offsets, cracks, blockages and dams, roots, bellies and improper materials are some of things that are observed during a video sewer scope inspection. The condition of your sewer lateral will be described in your home inspection report along with recommendations and a link to the video. The video sewer scope inspection is an additionl fee and is not included in a general home inspection.
